[Product Release] Introducing Kameleoon’s integration with Mixpanel
Challenge your Kameleoon experiments by thoroughly analyzing user behavior with Mixpanel’s Behavioral Analytics solution.
1 What is Mixpanel?
Mixpanel is a user-behavior analysis solution for product teams, now natively available on Kameleoon. Thanks to Mixpanel Behavioral Analytics, you can observe how your Kameleoon experiments impact the way users interact with your websites or apps. With this data at your fingertips, you can easily identify and replicate effective tests and personalizations. You can also focus on your segments’ most relevant behavioral characteristics and more quickly find new insights to advance your testing roadmap.
2 Why combine Kameleoon with Mixpanel?
Connecting Kameleoon and Mixpanel enables you to compare different groups of users to understand how they vary in terms of factors such as behavior, retention, or churn, so that you can drive each of them to take the optimal action.
Among other things, you can zoom in on a single user’s profile and activity feed to understand who they are, and where they’re hitting roadblocks in their journey during an A/B test or personalization.
You also get access to additional analytical tools to gain a deeper understanding of your results. The data from your Kameleoon experiments is automatically fed into Mixpanel, in the "Experiments" view and can be combined with the other data collected by Mixpanel.
You can therefore observe the impact of your Kameleoon experiments on user behavior and go beyond simple data with causal models that account for external factors.
3 How does Mixpanel integrate with Kameleoon?
To connect Kameleoon and Mixpanel, simply activate the Mixpanel solution with one click via the Kameleoon integrations page.
Kameleoon uses Mixpanel’s native “Experiments” module to allow you to analyze the impact of experiments run via Kameleoon in a special Mixpanel interface.
You can thus observe and analyze the impact of Kameleoon experiments based on all the data collected by Mixpanel, using pre-defined indicators such as conversion increment or confidence index.
This is the start of our closer integration with Mixpanel - we also plan to enable customers to use Mixpanel cohort data in Kameleoon. Available by the end of the year, this will mean users can define a cohort through Mixpanel’s UI (for example “users who interacted with the search engine in the last week”). They will then have the option to export that set of users through Mixpanel’s cohort manager to Kameleoon, where it can be used for further segmentation.
Mixpanel is one of our many integrations that help you to improve results analysis and further extend Kameleoon experiments and innovations. To find out more, visit our documentation page.
